I rememeber seeing Janeane Garofalo as an amature open-mike act at a Houston comedy club back in 1988. She seemed like a dope then, trying to work a twisted paperclip bit into her act. Nothing she's done since changes my opinion.

Told explicitly not to boo, or told explicitly not to boo MICHAEL MOORE? The former is standard audience warmup, the latter is intentional falsification of what is supposed to be a legitimate (if "funny") live debate program, and a piece of information that certain HBO executives (in New York, at least) would be VERY interested to hear about. As would any number of media critics.

I used to think she (Garafolo) was funny... now I know she's just another liberal pinhead. Oh well..
