They should all be rescured, but if it has to be only one, I pray that Shoshana Johnson is on her way home. A woman could not possibly survive the tortuous ordeal of being held by those Iraqi creeps.

There is nothing more satisfying to the military than to rescue one of their own, even more satisfying than enemy KIAs in a good firefight. God Bless them all.

The guy on MSNBC says "at least one"......

MSNBC is reporting the same thing.
The source is the Pentagon. "At least one prisoner of war rescued." No more info yet pending family notification according to MSNBC.

Marvelous news.

For sure. I'm waiting to hear if Jesse Jackson did indeed go as he intended; read only a crawl that he and other religious leaders had been asked to go. Oh, I wish they'd keep him for ransom.

Or Speicher...he's been there for over a decade. Doubtful it's him, though.

I could say something about Jesse going over, but I won't.

Bump!
To: Callahan
Finally some good news.
We should ask Rev. Jesse Jackson to offer himself in exchange for our POWs.

Knowing Jesse, he would have one of his kids installed as the head of Al-Jazeera, and the other awarded a Mecca Cola bottling plant, for his services.
To: Dante3
jackson wouldn't last an hour as a P.O.W.
