You may be right but I learned it at the elbow of a military wife on our base. She also advised me never to get a station wagon as it nullified the effect of the sweep. She owned a vw bug and considered it the height of an armored childmobile,,said she could reach anyone while driving even the cowardly ones who hid on the floor. She was a very funny lady,,husband was the base pediatrician!!
