Bump! I'm VERY surprised President Bush sent one right up the poop chute of CAIR and AMC. Don't be fooled by the impression these groups are Muslim civil rights organizations. They're nothing of the sort. They're in fact apologists for Islamic extremists and terrorist groups. Daniel Pipes will definitely help to balance the pro-Arab tilt at State at the U.S Institute of Peace and bring order to our views on Islam there. Its kind of sweet to see the adversaries of the U.S taken completely of guard and I wasn't sure President Bush would appoint someone of Pipes' caliber to government service. And its one that's long overdue and we all wish him the best in his new position and hopes he makes a difference for the cause of peace.

Absolutely. One can see for oneself what their true agenda is by visitng their Web sites. Especially alarming is that they are hell bent upon forming their own institutions and universities in our country, too. If we allow them to continue to pursue their Muslim agenda in America,
we face a future much like the bloody conflagration that was the former Yugoslavia.

I must say I breathed a big sigh of relief at this news! God bless President Bush for his astuteness and courage.
