It could be nothing but if you look closely at the photo of the three Iraqi males, two of the men wearing the brown robe and blue robe have what look like holes in their robes. Like I said, could be nothing.

When you look at the larger image by clicking on it, it just looks like a photo defect.

Saddam never envisioned an elite force like this.
Saddam never envisioned having to fight Our Navy, Air Force. Marines, and Army all at the same time.
And I'd like to add, my renewed respect for the British commandos that took the Iraqis head on.
A job well done - Thank you for your service too the american people, and too your country..
Your next mission will be in New York City routing The UN

USMC bump.

I stand in total awe and respect of these men. I read where a reporter offered to let a group of Marines call their families back in the States on his satellite phone, but they all opted to call the family of a fellow Marine recently killed in action.
That's what "Semper Fidelis" means. These guys are true heroes, one and all, but would be the last to acknowledge it.

You know I was thinking it would be really nice to collect anecdotes and create a log of them then include the pictures and graphics made in here to honor them and make it avalilable as a tribute for what they have done and represent. It could be a testimony of the support they have among us, as we acknoledge them to be Semper Fi!

"The story about the satellite phone is an urban legend."
NO, it is not.
I watched it on Fox.
I saw the reporter ask the marine if he wanted to call his family and he said they wanted to call the family of a fallen marine.

Your point is well taken and your lofty admonition somewhat superfluous, but because I read that here, it never even occurred to me to check into whether it might be an urban legend. In any case, thanks for the Snopes link.
Regardless, the next member of the military I meet at my favorite watering hole has a free drink coming.
