Oliver North In Helicopter Forced to Land Because of Enemy Gunfire?

Last night Olie reported that he was in a helicopter that was forced down by enemy gunfire. Two helicopters were damaged by this gunfire and had to land. No one was injured according to North.

When he gave his report he said they were trying to do temporary repairs on the coppers so they could return for more permanent repairs.

Did anyone else hear this? I have been watching this morning and have heard nothing on Fox.

I heard that report. It was amazing. And if anyone thinks Ollie will report rather than pick up a weapon in that situation, they're crazy! I really admire him.

He was on a little bit ago and was thanking Boeing (?)and another aircraft co. for building "those helicopters" with such integrity. Said something about being in them under fire and attesting to the fact that they can still put them down after being hit.

He's fine..reported in this morning. He also said he wanted to thank Bell and Boeing for building such fine helo's that can withstand taking on enemy fire..he said those fine helos had saved him more than once over there...

Not sure how you searched.... but the default on the search now is 'revelance' rather than 'post time'..... Using "North" as the search word and changing to "post time" as the order of search and it comes up the second article. Otherwise by 'revelance' it comes up down the list...

AMEN to that! I love Fox New Channel! I can't remember what life was like before FNC. Then I wake up when the hubby puts it on CNN and I recall it quick enough. I then demand a REMOTE CHANGE and it's back to FNC. Hehehe!
