The 4th Infantry's 2nd Battalion Field Artillery unloaded 550 vehicles in 12 hours, instead of the normal two days.

WOW, is that impressive! Go with God guys, I think Saddams birthplace would make a fitting grave for him as well.

The 4ID is a great Division. Their upgraded M1A2(SEP) is the best of our M1s, a tank which has has already proven its worth. The rest of the 4th "Ivy" Division's equipment and soldiers are no slouchers either.

I will say I hope everyone does not get too carried away though in their comparisons of them to the 3ID. The 3ID, although not the most powerful of our Divisions, is the most experienced in the CENTCOM AOR (Area of Operations) though....and it will be hard for anyone to outperform what these guys have done over the past 18 days. I expect the capabilites of the 4ID and the experience of the 3ID will equate to a wash, and we will find both of these fine Divisions about equal...which means the 4ID should overmatch anything left in the Iraqi arsenal.

On Fox News, they stated that the 4th ID had 4x the fire power of the 3rd ID.

"Oh, it was Dad who was in the IV, speaking for myself. But he'd appreciate what you said if he were still with us. Thanks."

Yes, I did read your original post. Sorry about that. I had a blonde moment (and I'm not even blonde!). Regardless, your father deserves much credit. You were fortunate to have had a dad who set such a fine example of service and patriotism for his family.

Wonder how they came up with that?

It would be nice to know a lot more about their high tech stuff, that has to be the reason!

I don't know, was wondering myself. How does a 120mm M1 cannon become 4x 'stronger'?
