FYI, the Chinese embassy bombing in Belgrade was not a mistake. The Chinese were helping the Serbs from their embassy, so we took out the building. The "sorry, our map was out-of-date" explanation was just a diplomatic cover story. It's amazing how the press accepted that absurd explanation with unwavering trust in the Clinton Administration. The CIA is the last place on earth that would have an out-of-date map of Belgrade.

Actually--I would change your thought a little and not compare it to the Chinese embassy bombing (that comparison would fit the Russian embassy convoy shooting) but the Belgrade TV studio bombing.---I guess we are not out to win Arab hearts and minds anymore.
