I'm not surprised they lost their cameraman...there was obviously someone firing an AK from directly in front of his position. I saw the ejected shell casings flying up.
The M1 got sick of it, swung around, and took them out. Can't say as I blame him.
That's what I saw.

I am waiting for them to rerun that video.....

Nice catch. They just showed it on Foxnews.

There is footage of the lead tank taking out the camera that was on the west side of the Tigris, and a bit north of the bridge with the tanks.
The debris that was flying up in front of the camera was incoming machine gun fire. (IMHO)

Your post #56 - should be counter to what is being reported today in article about American Military "apologizing" for hitting cameramen (sort of) who said they did not see anyone shooting where they were. YOU obviously saw the results of them shooting from these positions - IT WOULD BE GOOD IF YOU OR OTHERS COULD EMAIL some people telling what you saw. Don't waste your time with Reuters - but perhaps others - MSNBC, FOX - so these people at least would publish your eyewitness reports of shooting by people near or in front of these cameras.
