[history]
April 8, 2003 -- THE war is won. The war is not over, but the war is won.

Will the Washington ComPost and the NY Slimes publish articles as straight and to the point as this one? Hah. The new talking point of the Left is that the coalition won so quickly because the Iraqis didn't fight back. A week after claiming that the coalition was stuck in a quagmire, the Left scrambles to find a new way to spin the war in their favor. So now, a week after claiming that fierce and unexpected Iraqi resistance had bogged down the coalition, they're claiming the Iraqis lost so quickly because they didn't put up a fight. How they manage not to get dizzy from all this spinning and flip-flopping is beyond me.
