[history]
A full-page ad Monday calling for the impeachment of President Bush sparked dozens of calls, letters and e-mails from readers angered that it would appear in The Chronicle.
"We consider it an outrage that you accepted the advertisement to impeach our United States President," said one letter faxed to Dick Rogers, readers' representative for the paper. "I find this type of advertising anti-American and in poor taste," complained another reader.

Peaceniks are now going to try to send e-mails and comments to the newspaper to counter the so-called Bush crowd. Would you believe they think that everyone in the United States who approves of the war and/or likes Bush is a Freeper? How stupid are they?

How disgusting...The left knows no shame.
Well one good thing about the idiocy the've displayed lately is at least they are ruining thier chances for 2004! :)

..I'm going to task the question again.. when are these well funded.. well organized anti-war groups going to be investigated and when is RICO going to be applied to them?? They did it to the pro-life movement.. far from well funded..

Ramsey Clark, along with John Conyers and Professor Francis Boyle, are three of the most despicable human beings that ever drew breath. While other former Attorney Generals have chosen to retire with grace and dignity, Clark seems to get his kicks running his big mouth. If anyone should resign from public office here, it should be Conyers and few of his Dimocratic counterparts who have made some rather seditious remarks during this time of war. As for Professor Boyle, perhaps he should go into hiding with his buddy DeGenova.
...Who was it that said the Left was like a Cancer on our society? He nailed it.

where did these people come up with $45,000 If memory serves me correctly, Ramsey Clark has made a prolific living from defending every despot and mass-murderer in the last 30 years, but it wouldn't surprise me if the money was wired from Baghdad.

"People do have a right to place ads expressing their beliefs," Brown said. Surely. But the newspaper does not have a duty to accept them.

I am sure A.N.S.W.E.R also donated to this. They disgust me! One good thing is this will never happen. Ramsey Clark is on about the same level as a cockroach in the food chain!

Professor Boyle was representing Lybia in the Lokherbee (sp?) trial. I don't think he is that pro-Arabic, except that they are his allies: he's been writing anti-Semitic rants for decades. Of course, Arab dictators also pay well.
