As a popular entertainer, I would think most of us would be applauding his ability to stay away from openly partisan politics and just doing what he is making large amounts of money for doing, hosting his talk show.I know what you mean. My threshold for entertainers is pretty high. As long as they don't annoy me with their liberalism, I don't care who they vote for.

****And on the way home, I was listening to Fox News. ****

Speaking of FOX News, we were just watching O'Reilly, when my husband turned on MSNBC during an ad and caught Keith Obermann(sp?) showing a film clip of officers from the 101st Airborne shaking Geraldo's hand. The gist of the story was that these officers had put their hands in offensive places before meeting with Geraldo, and then Oberman said that the soldiers still got the bad end of the deal. I was shocked and offended. I hope that the soldiers and Oberman get in trouble for this one.

I found it very disturbing. I had the sense that between them and their BBC reporting, American is the bad guy.
