"Scenes of joy" in the districts is and north-eastern of Baghdad
"scenes of joy" burst Wednesday morning in the east and the North-East of Baghdad, signs "beginning of the end" of the mode of Saddam Hussein in Iraq, affirmed the correspondent of the BBC after the entry of the American troops in these districts of the capital. "There is nobody to stop them" expressing their joy of seeing the American troops arriving, declared the journalist Andrew Gilligan on line with the radio operator BBC.
"I think that what we see is a sign of the beginning of the end of the mode of Saddam Hussein" even if difficulties remain certainly to be come, the journalist affirmed.
American troops progressed on bank is Tiger approaching in a few kilometers the center Baghdad where they must make their junction with units which control Western bank, noted journalists and witnesses.
This progression intervenes whereas the Iraqi combatants gave up their positions in the streets of these districts and were driven out large suburbs Shiite of the city, Saddam City, where scenes of plunderings were announced.

NEWS BREAK now on MSNBC. 5:46 am. EST. Saddam and one son were injured, one son dead, in the blast. They are in Tikrit seeking medical help from Syria.
After a long dark night nearly three decades in duration, a new day is dawning in Iraq, and it's wondrous to behold. As the Democrats watch this, will they even have an inkling of how petty, how malignant, how corrupt they are? Or will they continue to villify Bush and the wonderful thing he has done? In their hatred and envy and jealousy, will they continue to spit upon everything that is righteous? They probably will.
As newly liberated Iraqis loot government buildings, reclaiming some of the wealth that was stolen from them by the Ba'athist criminals, Reuters facetiously refers to them as "thieves". This from the news service that calls terrorists "freedom fighters" and liberators "invaders". No, Reuters, the looting Iraqis aren't "thieves". They are people who were brutally oppressed for decades, who endured horrible medievalism Westerners can't even begin to contemplate. Now that the terrible weight has been lifted from them, it's only natural that they engage in a bit of anarchy and get it out of their system. They are not criminals. The criminals are the thugs who oppressed them and tortured them for years. The anarchy will dwindle as the days go by, and once their new government is in place, the liberated Iraqis will build their new lives responsibly. So stick it in your craw, Reuters, and the same goes for every other mean-spirited leftist malcontent everywhere. Behold the everlasting power of freedom and the ultimate death of all tyranny, you slaves of socialism.
It wont be long before Jenine Garofalo is back on the telly proclaiming that the "people" arent any better off now that Saddam is gone. Mike Farrell will say this could have happened without all the bloodshed. These people are mentally deficient.
