Actually, the early campaign posters for the Nazi party promised Bread and Work. (A less sophisticated version of"It's the economy , stupid!") What America really should fear is a party that puts social programs before personal freedoms...

Excellent catch. Since the economy wasn't in crisis the Clintinoids immediately latched on to the semantically brilliant slogan 'Its for the children.' as a preamble to a wide ranging series of violently unconstitutional acts-WACO, its for the children there is child abuse going on, 'assualt rifle ban'-its for the children guns bad, etc.
