"don't you agree that the inevitable RestorationOfRights legislation will restore Liberties that have been squandered away fer generations?!"

Mud, my friend, there shouldn't be a need for a "Restoration of Rights" because these rights should not have been taken away in the first place. The Pres and both houses of congress violated the Constitution passing these laws, thus violating their sworn oaths to uphold it.

IMO, the seat of economic power will reside in Rome in the future. GATT and NAFTA & especially the WTO is part and parcel of the Bushs' (and their cohorts) New World Order.

If memory serves, GATT received only 4 hours of debate in the Senate which was a "lame duck" Senate AND controlled by the republicans. Imagine that, Mud, 4 hours to pass a TREATY that will affect us for years to come. Don't you think that was a betrayal of the American worker? I do!
Many companies moved their operations after the passage of these two obscenities.

BTW, it will be interesting to see what Corporations get the Billion $ contracts to restore Iraq at the expense of the American taxpayer.

Unless we take back our schools away from the Feds and the incompetant "teachers, American children will be dumbed down. Destroy the minds of children and you destroy the country.

Kids come in my store and say a thing is "bended" instead of bent and when they play a game, they say they "won" him instead of beat him. At least ten kids have said that to me (I hold YuGiOh card tournaments in my store every Saturday).

I ask them who the Sec of State is and Sec of Defense and they don't know.

To repeat, unless we take back the educational systems to the local level, I still feel the same as I wrote in that poem.

"...unless we take back the educational systems to the local level"

Thy will shall be done, my FRiend, as Educational Vouchers and the decentralization of bureaucRATic control become cornerstones of Dubyuh's push to win the Hearts and Minds of Urban America working up to the 2004 elections. Our POTUS is a lot more resolute that I figgered him fer, especially considering the way his daddy allowed hisself to git played fer the fool by the DemonRATS and Slick Willie. In fact, I'd go so far as to say a portion of Dubyuh's resolute nature derives from his not wanting to make the same mistakes his daddy made!!

I'm not sure how long it's gonna take to rid America of the heinously COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE Federal Dept. of Education, but I seriously don't believe it will survive Dubyuh's second term, as the devolution of Power from the Feds to the States to the Localities to the Parents will make it apparent to all but the most devoted Collectivists that any education solutions that retain or increase the Power presently entrusted to IvoryTowerEggheads in DeeCee are inherently COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE!!

Keep the Faith, we're on the RightPath...MUD
