If it not too personal, why are you there? Very Long Story (I could start a thread...)
Let's just say that, after the Fall of the Berlin Wall, I wanted to stay here and "experience" Free Europe - got married - 3 kids - mortgage - NO ESCAPE!!

I bet they couldn't drag Rick out of Iraq yet. He seems like he wants to be there until the end of all the conflict.

I'm on the CBS BagCam, and there are some figures at the base of palm tree in the foreground. Just as I clicked on, one was walking to the tree. They're all sprawled out under that tree, and they look to be clothed in black. Shortly after I downloaded, there were a couple of gun pops. They're making me nervous. Anyone else have a better resolution than I and can tell what's going on there?

Many of the city reporters build sandbagged bunkers to film behind. If you are a soldier seeing a sandbagged bunker with a reflecting lens behind it......what would you do? Especially if you are getting incoming from that direction. We took the same cr*p from the press in VN. The idiots in that hotel should know the precarious position they are placing THEMSELVES in. I mourn their deaths, but I can recognize a responsible journalist vs a screaming socialist reporter with an adjenda. FOX has pros, many other organizations don't.

Did Shep just say we'd "screwed the pooch" in this country before?

No. Like Rumsfeld said to the reporters: go out among the Iraqi people and let them tell you of their conditions under Saddam

The pigeon was just an early warning system. They've got a bunch of electronic gear for detecting it too, plus there's apparent intelligence that it's not going to be used in Baghdad. Hence, the drop in status to MOP-0 a few days ago.

6600? Is that all the damage you could do to the last thread?
Oh well, I left an hour before it officially ended myself.

Nothing wrong with living in Eurpoe. We elected Clinton too, so just because a couple of Euro countries have idiots for leaders is no big deal. Representative democracy can be messy.

The folks sitting around have been there for quite awhile and don't seem to be up to anything. There are quite a lot of OUR guys moving around however. And I just heard another small round go off.

6600? Is that all the damage you could do to the last thread? It was a slow news day - not much to talk about!
