I wish sucky RealOne would let you open up more than one window.

Under Linux, I have been running 3 or more windows simultaneously. Try launching RP manually (rather than via a link), then give it the URL of the stream.

Cool -- I hadn't even thought to put Real on the Linux boxes. I've banned it from the house -- but put it on one W2k machine for the Bagcams.

I've got a good X-for-W2k server -- I'll be able to run several of them on the Win box (with the 21" monitor :-).

Well, I got it installed (they've still got the most user-hostile site on the web!) and running, and it works in the X-server on W2k, but Yuck! The video quality sucks... The video's fine on the Linux boxes directly, but lousy through the ssh connection. Still can't get > 1 instance to run, though -- but I can run one on W and one on each L, so I'll have 3 when I get the video probs fixed.

I'm so anal about things like this, I'll probably spend half of tomorrow tuning on it :-)

Thanks for the tip, though -- I wish I'd thought of it three weeks ago; it just didn't dawn on me that Real had a Linux client. I use Linux for "real stuff," and Windows for all the fancy graphical stuff.
