and his friend has what appears to be a military tattoo on his arm where he also feigns injury. But, there is no
laceration, no bruise, no swelling, no bleeding, etc.
Perhaps most telling about the tale is the Russian's smile on the ambulance, when caught offguard.

Does anyone know anything about this flag? Is it pre-Saddam? Its missing the writing between the stars.

The flag was reported to be from NYC and the American hero putting it on the Statue is reported to have been in the Pentagon when it was attacked by Saddam's friends the AlQuaida led terrorists.
The Iraqi soldiers being captured cannot believe the Americand are not shooting them. That is what they were told would happen if they are captured.
Much fighting (and many prayers) continue - but all praise be to GOD for His protection and delivering grace - given to the Iraqi people - by way of the American people and our President, George W Bush - from our HEROES - our MILITARY!!!

I heard that Saddam changed the flag after the 91 gulf war to enhance his "Islamic" ties. Of course he said they won that war, it seems Iraqis don't like the Saddam flag.
