I liked the idea of shareholders getting free beer and sausage at their meeting while they were told of gloomy sales predictions. Anyone think the management there is real happy with Schroder?

I think Chrysler sells. The Mercedes division of the company has had lagging sales. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

So the government bailed out chrysler only to
have it sold to a german company.
Can we sue to recover any money and interest
used to bail out chrysler?

I am so disgusted with Germany that I absolutely refuse to give up my 10-year-old Saturn and buy a new Mercedes.

Well, I blasted my Dodge dealer when he asked me when I was going to trade in my pickup. I told him that I will be getting a Chevy or a Toyota and that I don't do business with companies that are part of an enemy nation. He looked at me bug eyed and said "but Dodge is 100 percent American". I reminded him at that point it was owned by the Nazis, er Germans, and that until the German infestation changed their government or removed their influence from Chrysler, hell would freeze before I bought another one of their products. That hurt him since I own two Dodge trucks and usually trade them in every 2-3 years.

The Mercedes SUV had been having problems. Owners have been dumping them for different companies.

Chrysler was in trouble before Daimler bought them. One year and two weeks ago, I had the misfortune to get between a semi and a delivery truck on a snowy interstate in my Dodge Dakota pickup. Not much left of the Dodge afterwards. I had to pull my bumper out of the ditch so the trooper could record my license plate number. I'd never seen a vehicle disintegrate like that.

They might want to consider the possibility that their atrocious reliability is having something to do with it as well.
Nothing like being taken over by an American car company to drive reliability right into the dumper.

Well, I know that this ex Chrysler/Dodge diehard had his consumer sentiment subdued when they circled the wagons and sent me this canned lie after complaining about their racism czars statements about conservatives and their shakedown payments to Rent-A-Riot Jackson...
