Today's FEEBLE attempt at humor:
Saddam Hussein's son comes home from shopping with everything in a
cardboard box...
His dad says, "Why have you brought the shopping home in a cardboard
box, son?"
To which his son replies,
"Because there's no Baghdad!"

Death Valley Days
1952-1970, Also 1974 Syndicated
Black and White/Color - 30 minutes - 532 episodes
Produced by Flying A Productions
Death Valley Days Original Intro:
"As the early morning bugle call of the covered wagon trains fades away among the echoes, another true Death Valley Days is presented by the famous Borax family of products- 20 Mule Team Borax and Boraxo. "
Death Valley Days Hosts
Stanley Andrews from 1952-65 (as The Old Ranger)
Ronald Reagan 1965-1966
Robert Taylor 1966-1968
Dale Robertson 1968-1972
John Payne 1972-1975
Merle Haggard 1975
This anthology series ran for many years, presenting stories of the Old West, often filmed right in Death Valley.
Perhaps it is best known for two things, the host (Ronald Reagan) who became President of the United States, and the intro. Many people confuse this intro with that of Wagon Train. The tipoff is the MULES, as in 20 Mule Team Borax.

What the heck is that? Got links? Pictures. Sounds like a cowboy of the everglades. lol
To: Bethbg79
Well, I know it is a struggle, but keep throwing those faces and wise come-backs at him as you did yesterday. It keeps him busy and he doesn't have time to wreck havoc at the Canteen.

To: snippy_about_it; Radix
It sounds very familiar, but with age comes less memory cells, so I am at a loss to remember it. But I believe it was like a cop type show where they worked in the Florida everglades.
