I know our precious US troops are on the line as we speak, there are 'zips in the wire', they never know who's going to sniper or suicide bomb them in Baghdad, and they cannot stop every looter.

But I SURE hope a few of them today or tomorrow can take some time to locate her and others for detention and turn them over to the British command there.

These people deserve very hard time IMHO for their obstruction and sedition and aid/comfort to the enemy, and to serve as an example to others who have visions of 'shielding' in far off Damascus, Teheran or Pyongyang as they slip off to sleep after a few hits of the bong.

If she were such a dedicated, Iraqi-lovin' human shield, what the heck was she doing hanging out at the swank Palestine Hotel, home of international journalists and government officials? Bet her professed home, "the Daura Electrical Power Plant, where I will stay to save the site," hardly saw her shadow for the weeks she was in Baghdad. (I shudder to think what those little rosy-cheeked cherubs in her nursery classes back in England are being taught....)

She is a British citizen. She is clearly of Middle East or South Asian heritage. "Bashir" can be seen as a family name in Libya, Palestinian, or even Pakistan. Outside of that I am not sure. Main thing is she is under British Law.
