US Military Sources -Tikrit May Fall 'Without a Significant Fight'

United States Military sources said on April 12 that Tikrit-the biggest city Iraqi city not under control by United States forces--'could fall without a significant fight.'

Officials hinted that after days of intense bombing and with United States Special Forces 'nearby,' Tikrit may fall without a large United States presence.

I'm still a little worried- where did all the bogies go? I'd rather wipe them all out now than have them regroup and continue a guerilla war while we're trying to rebuild the country.

Hopefully they've given up and gone home for good - the conscripts probably have, but I worry about the hardcore types.
