At least five agents graduated Sept. 15 from a two-week course in surveillance and eavesdropping techniques, according to certificates issued to the Iraqi agents by the "Special Training Center" in Moscow.+++
Isn't it too short period (2 weeks only!) to learn something useful?

Not only that but if all they know is Arabic, how useful is that, to know how to eavesdrop in Arabic? I think knowing how to eavesdrop in English would be much more useful worldwide. Or perhaps they also learned how to eavesdrop in Russian (sinec they went to Moscow)? That would be pretty good for an intensive two-week course! I didn't know teaching eavesdropping was in violation of the sanctions on trade.
Say, that's pretty interesting that the reporter pointed out that those Iraqi cartridges were in Arabic. The average journalist would have just thought they were in Iraqian.
