And to think I used to live in that rat trap of a city. I remember the flap after the walkways along the James River were rebuilt. Huge posters of American icons such as Gen. RE Lee and Stonewall Jackson were placed on the walkway in tribute to the city's history. Oh, the NAACP had a fit on that one-culminating in a failed attempt to take down every Confederate statue on the historic Monument Ave. Virginia, too, has felt the wrath of the self-rightous left in recent years.
