Features the Marshall Tucker Band.
One member of the group made a foolish, off-hand statement out of frustration. Unlike many celebs, she has appoligized several times for it and certainly seems to regret the statement. The music is still of the same quality. The group has expressed respect for President Bush and has made no statements against the war since the fighting started. It is time to move on. If you must "tilt at windmills", try focusing on those many celebs who still show great disrespect for the President and have no regret for their anti-war activities even though it may have made the work of our troops more difficult.
7/6/03 Dallas, TX American Airlines Arena
I'll make sure and be there ! (NOT !)
Thanks !
Please define "make amends for their actions."

Complete agreement. They've done the honorable thing. Now it's time for us to also do the honorable thing, which is to accept their apology, and move on to real problems. Unless we want to decide all of a sudden that the left's "symbolism over substance" strategy is a good one after all.
