"Lori is believed to be the first American Indian woman ever to be killed in combat..for the United States military..There is great sadness and pride in the land of her ancestors."
What a beautiful tribute.
Thank You for posting it here.

The 2 LT has made it clear to me that he knows Troops who love the Canteen.
He is in good health and he is of good cheer. All this despite the fact that he came very close to a very dark place.
There was a real War going on over there, and it won't be the last.
There will always be a need for the Canteen. It will always be about the Troops. It cannot survive if we ever lose site of that one fact.
I love you Troops, and thank you for your Service.

Love all y'all. Troops and those here who keep the Canteen doors open and the freedom mat out for us.

We sing a song here too.
It is a song for the Troops.
That is the way that I see it.

The 2LT advised me to be careful of what I see and hear in the media.
He assured me that the Iraqi's love America and Americans.
I cautioned him to be very careful concerning those people.
Nevertheless, he is there, I am here, he says that they are ecstatic about the American presence.
