God forbid, IF or WHEN large numbers of American citizens NEED full automatic Diane Fineswine/Chucky Schumer type “assault” weapons and ammo, there will probably be plenty available from the local National Guard Armory – and some of the Guardsmen I know will be happy to help load them up.

Insofar as OTHER types of military caliber weapons are concerned, studies prove that a decent marksman with a good semi-auto rifle who picks his shots is FAR more effective than some dork spraying the woods with a full auto as the dork will probably run out of ammo before he hits anything.

Give me two choices: some a$$hole shooting at me with an AR-15 either modified to full auto or popping off rounds as fast as he can, or some a$$hole shooting at me with a Remington 700, a scope, and some skill.

I would much prefer the former as opposed to the latter.

Full auto weapons are covered by the 1934 National Firearms Act. The AW Ban has NOTHING TO DO with select fire weapons.

Huh?! You realy think that federally-owned guns secured on federal property by federal employees will be available to citizens trying to stop federal tyranny?! Those armories are part of the standing army that our founders knew needed to be countered by vastly superior qualtities of military hardware in citizen hands.
