What's wrong with this picture?

Some 120 people came together on a snowy Saturday morning in January at the Carnegie Library in East Liberty. They assembled in an effort to field one strong candidate to oppose incumbent Darlene Harris in the May 20 primary election for the District 2 seat on the Pittsburgh Board of Public Education.

The stranglehold that party politics exerts over government begins at the grass roots level. Perhaps that is where term limits should be enacted.
