Peterson's a narcissistic personality. The only thing a pathological narcissist thinks about is immediate gratification.
Narcissists will put their own lives and well-being at risk for the gratification they seek. Baby on the way? If that interferes with my affair, I'll just kill the baby and its mother.
DNA announcement about to be made when I want to go play golf? I'll go play golf.
Peterson, like Clinton, never thought he'd get caught, even though he made so many mistakes he was bound to. Narcissists can't possibly think objectively, and don't understand what the fuss is. Isn't all of life about immediate gratification?
Like Clinton, he will eventually confess.
I pray that he will if guilty. I'd be curious to know if he got someone else to do the deed for him... there's no blood and guts in his boat.
He's guilty. Most wives killed are killed by their husbands.
I'd be curious to know if he got someone else to do the deed for him... there's no blood and guts in his boat.
Have you seen the galoot? He's a big boy. He likely strangled her and hauled her out to the marina.
This boy's gonna have a very hard time in general population.
Those are his words. We don't really know if he ever really told her. I would bet he didn't. Why tell her when you know you're going to kill her anyway?
This could be right, but they could also fully believe they could convict him of anything now. Look at this thread: there isn't many here who don't already think he did it. Nobody here investigated, they are all taking the word of the police department and other known information. The DA may feel they have not only a good but great chance to get a conviction just because of the moood of the public.
I hope for justice's sake three things: one, the scenario I described above is not the case and they believe they honestly have the evidence that leads them to believe he did it; two, if he did do it, he gets the gas chamber; and three, if he didn't do it, he gets acquitted and the DA and police face some sort of review to explain why they focused on the guy that didn't do it and ignored anyone else that did.
By reading this article, it seems that the cops are neglecting leads and discarding witnesses that do not fit a rigid scenario.
(1) He killed her. He is a typical scumbag who killed his pregnant wife so he could get the insurance and shack up with his girlfriend.
(2) He has been cleverly framed by someone who knows his habits well and hates him. In this context, having a girlfriend on the side just makes him an a**hole, not a murderer. Having the body float up where he goes fishing would be key to the frame -- although highly unrealistic because since the body was apparently wired to weights to stay down.
It will be interesting to see his defense -- yeah, it was the one-armed man! So unless it turns out that a bunch of other pregnant gals who also show signs of being wired down have also floated ashore (in which case, all bets are off) he is toast.
I remember a story Scott's mom told papers early on, about how when Scott was a teenager, he told her he had helped two different people start their cars that were alongside the road. Both people sent letters to his parents to thank their son.
Now, it sure seems odd to me that both of these people would have asked him for his address, and sent letters. I thought he probably wrote them himself, or had a friend do it-that both times, he was late home, or somewhere he wasn't supposed to be & used the stranded car stories as a cover. Could be way off base, but the story just sounded strange. (Story was, if I recall, "Who is Scott Peterson", perhaps from MSNBC site).
So9
83 year old Bill Mitchell, who said he was looking for the bowl game that was on that day. None were scheduled for 12/24, pro or college it's well documented.
I'll bet we don't know the half of what the cops have got.
Peterson made so many mistakes that we've seen (an affair offers motive, the bodies float up right where he was fishing which was 90 miles from his house); the cops said they were going to indict and arrest him even before the bodies were found.
I imagine he had to sell the SUV to pay bills. I haven't heard if he lost his job or not since this became a story a few months ago. As for his appearance, if my mug were on the news channels 24/7, I'd probably want to look a little different too, guilty or not.
Or, more likely, his mother's a liar, and Scott learned well from her.
Having watched them on MSNBC (and you can probably catch this throughout the evening), these parents are creepy.
Even Geoffrey Feiger was saying that he has incriminated himself big time.
