Thanks for the ping. This story brought tears to my eyes. You know we know the politicians are not going to do anything - money talks. I just don't understand why the average citizen does nothing. Why does the media do nothing (well corporate money again, I guess). It's like, hear no evil - in other words, if it isn't on my doorstep, I don't want to thinka about it. By the time it makes it to my doorstep - it is too late - so just go along to get along - as least as long as we can - 'and we'll worry about the rest tomorrow'.

WE can't be bothered with this - we are too busy boycotting French wine and complaining about Canada - after all, they were our friends and they hurt our 'feelings' and that is more important than actually trying to preserve the country.

Yes, didn't people have great fun calling the French names, feeling so very proud and patriotic. If anyone wants an eye-opener, please read this post of mine from one of Allan Wall's recent translations of what's been reported in the Mexican media since the war began. I wish O'Reilly or someone would interview this American who lives and works legally in Mexico. He holds an FM-2 residency and work permit, and serves six weeks a year with the Texas Army National Guard, in a unit composed almost entirely of Americans of Mexican ancestry.

This is outrageous!

Mexican Foreign Secretary Derbez made the rather startling announcement that Mexico was considering direct negotiations with the Saddam regime over U.S. soldiers who are dual citizens of the U.S. and Mexico!
