I enjoyed "Don't Fence Me In" when it came out in the mid 40s and thanks for the memories.
I was born in the mid-forties, and my father's parents were vaudevillians.
He had to running jokes when we were kids.
One was, that "Don't Fence Me In" was my parent's wedding song.
The other was his answer to
"Where did you and mom meet each other?".
Answer:
"We met in a revolving door
and we've been going around together ever since."
Ba da bing!
