Rick Rescorla was prominent in the book "We were Soldiers Once...and Young" and was on the cover. It was the book that the Mel Gibson movie We Were Soldiers was based on. Rescorla was a true hero in the Towers and saved a huge number of people. It is a terrible thing to have Sarandon and Robbins in this movie.
The "Ice" movie didn't do very well last night. The doctor that the movie was based on said that Sarandon did not play her correctly at all. The doctor said, "That is not me."

...T'was All in GOD's Plan when 2 months after the Attacks of Sept. 11th ...I was blessed to be able to go to our 7th Cavalry's Annual Battle of IA DRANG Alumni Conference Dinner in Washington, D.C. on Veterans Day Weekend where I ended up sitting at the table next to Widow SUSAN RESCORLA's, who I had been fighting for, and the table of Lt. Gen. and Mrs. HAL G. MOORE & "WE WERE SOLDIERS" Director RANDALL WALLACE ..with NBC Dateline TV Cameras rolling for their coming TV Story on the RESCORLA's.
...While showing us clips from his forthcoming "WE WERE SOLDIERS" Motion Picture about our IA DRANG Battle RANDALL showed us the now famous TV Interview of RICK RESCORLA predicting his own future death at the hands of Muslim Extremists ..taped in his Tower 2 Office a couple of years before. It sent chills right thru US all.
...Before dawn the next morning we IA DRANG Alumni along with SUSAN RESCORLA, WWS Actor SAM ELLIOTT & RANDALL WALLACE held our own private Ceremony in front of the Vietnam Wall's 3rd Panel that carries the names of our fellow 7th Cavalry Soldiers who were killed in the Valley of Death that was the IA DRANG of 1965 ..with NBC TV Cameras continuing to roll.
...NBC Dateline's RICK & SUSAN RESCORLA Story ran in March 2002 opening up with us at the Vietnam Wall with the Star Spangled Banner being sung as my solemn face suddenly appears and then fades to Lt. Gen. HAL G. MOORE's reading off the names of our IA DRANG Hero Dead Soldiers 36 years after they had heroically died for Freedom in Vietnam.
...Last week I was further blessed to give a 1 1/2 Hour speech about RICK RESCORLA and our 7th Cavalry's experiences in Vietnam as they relate to our 7th Cavalry's now sitting in Bagdhad before a fine NRA Group in Culver City, California... in a restaurant sitting directly across the street from the very MGM Studio that was unbeknownst to us considering making this RICK RESCORLA Motion Picture for the SARANDON's.
...Last Saturday I had the honor of witnessing the Free Vietnamese of Orange County proclaim at a BUSH Victory Rally "WE ARE SOLDIERS" - "WE ARE SOLDIERS" ..in the Fight to bring Freedom around the world.
