It goes without saying to go forward with this film with the involvement of Robbins and Sarandon would be blasphemy of the highest order.

Let me say furthermore to you and everyone here who is reading this thread Metro Goldwyn Mayer does not produce films anymore. They have not since the 1970's. They merely distribute them.

What this means is a production company has been able to greenlight a film (get the go ahead to start making it) with MGM distributing. Perhaps someone could get information on this company and contact information? I think a few thousand phone calls and letters might help get the message across, don't you?

"Sure, go ahead with this film. And I promise you that not only will every major theater in the country showing that trash be picketed, the film will do less B.O. than Pluto Nash."
