URS Corp., a San Francisco planning and engineering firm partially owned by California Sen. Dianne Feinstein's husband, landed an Army contract Monday worth up to $600 million.

The award to help with troop mobilization, weapons systems training and anti-terrorism efforts is the latest in a string of plum defense jobs snared by URS. In February, the firm won an army engineering and logistics contract that could bring in $3.1 billion during the next eight years.

Her husband's business contacts and dealings is the reason she will never seek higher office.

Did Di Fi give Dick Cheney grief for profitting from the war, though his ties with Halliburton(I know I slaughtered the name) were severed when he became VEEP?

the democraps are so eager to jump on anything Bush et al does that they continue shooting themselves in the foot.

but of course to them, a company that USED to be associated with a repub is much worse than a current democrats company getting benefits from the military.

Gee, the other day the Comical made it front page news that a Halliburton sub-sub-contractor got a contract. Because Cheney USED to work there! Today's DiFi story was, I believe, on page 3! No bias here...move along!

And she and her husband both love the PRC and have many "business interests" there. Is anyone besides me concerned about the apparent mix here? Will more US secrets sail right into the hands of the PLA?

Puhleeeeeze ... Can the company produce what they are being contracted to do ...??

If they can - then what's the beef? The fact that it's owned by a dem is not the happiest of news, but then again - is there a repub company which could do better ...??

If so, why didn't they bid for the job ...??

Get real!

Why should our tax dollars be siphoned by the democrats into the pockets of the enemies of America?

So does this amount to a poster child for each time someone mentions Halliburton?

"What will all those anti-war protesters in San Fran think of THIS?"

They won't care any more than NOW cared about the women harassed and raped by Bill Clinton.

For the Left, it's never about principles; it's always about their own agenda and power.
