Beijing 1,200-bed hospital sealed off due to SARS
BEIJING, April 24 (Reuters) - The 1,200-bed Beijing University People's Hospital was sealed off because of SARS on Thursday and police were posted to stop people going in or out, hospital staff said.
The hospital, which has about 2,300 staff, was sealed off at around 1 a.m. on Thursday (1700 GMT on Wednesday), they said.
"No one is allowed to enter or leave," one staff member told Reuters by telephone. "There are policemen and security guards standing outside."

there was an ER episode where they sealed off the hospital. it wasn't long before people started freaking out which I think is pretty realistic.
sars makes a better weapon than small pox because at least with small pox we had a vaccination.
this is going to be the straw that breaks the airlines because I think the spread of this disease is going to get much worse.
I sure am not flying anywhere.
