I loved 24, at least the second season (I never watched the first season). I was impressed that the show had the guts to actually make the bad guys Arab terrorists. It's starting to go to hell now, though. The whole "oil conspiracy" crap has really turned me off.
Remember, David Palmer is a DEMOCRATIC President. If some are going to nit-pick about the direction the show is going, shouldn't they be cheering the fact that a DEMOCRATIC President has his cabinet scheming against him - trying to remove him from office?
Sheesh, it's television. I don't watch West Wing because I don't want to support Martin Sheen, not because of the material - from what I understand, the material is no good, so I probably wouldn't like it anyway.
When Kiefer Sutherland comes out and makes an ass of himself to the degree that Sheen and others have, I'll stop watching 24.
Until then, Jack Bauer rocks, and is the toughest S.O.B. to grace our televisions since Marshall Matt Dillon.
