Support Sen. Santorum's strong stand for family (PETITION)
ConservativePetitions.com ^ | Petition opened April 23, 2003 | ConservativePetitions.com

Walking into an ambush, Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) expressed what he and millions of Americans know to be the truth while commenting on the importance of a upcoming Supreme Court case. As a result, the Senate Republican Conference chairman is now under heavy fire from homosexual and Democrat Party groups seeking to somehow make his remarks seem as serious as those that led to the resignation of former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott. And, of course, our nation's Democrat-dominated media is intent on a feeding frenzy.

Sen. Santorum's remarks were made during an April 7 interview with Associate Press reporter Lara Jakes Jordan, wife of Jim Jordan, a former Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee official who now manages Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign. The DSCC, naturally, called for Sen. Santorum to resign his leadership position after the Human Rights Campaign and the Pennsylvania chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans squealed in alleged outrage.

Candidate Kerry predictably jumped on the supposed faux pas, but in all his ranting and raving he has yet to say one word challenging the truthfulness of Sen. Santorum's remarks. As he did in calling for a White House "regime change" during the war with Iraq, Kerry shows he is unfit for office by deceitfully comparing the homosexuals' push for special rights to the blacks' civil rights struggle. The defining characteristic for homosexuals, the wealthiest demographic group in America, is how they choose to have sex. That comes up way short of the long and courageous struggle that African-Americans have had to wage for equality.

So what did Sen. Santorum say to cause all this concocted fuss?

Simply this:

"If the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual (homosexual) sex within your home, then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery. You have the right to anything.

Sen. Santorum later said: "I do not need to give an apology based on what I said and what I am saying now. I think this is a legitimate policy discussion ... These are not ridiculous comments. These are very much very important points, and ones that most members of Congress are concerned about."

That's a fearless stand, and Sen. Santorum needs to hear from you for bravely risking such a smear campaign to state the facts that loom crucial to the essence of life in America. He is defending the sanctity of marriage and family values as defined by the Bible in which the most intimate relationships are to be between men and women, and only after they have entered into the contract of marriage.

Your help is needed! Show your support of Sen. Santorum! Sign the petition below that encourages him -- as well as President George W. Bush and Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, who will receive copies -- not to yield to this unnatural pressure. Don't let the well-organized and well-funded homosexual movement claim this victim!

He needs to hear from the American public in impressive numbers. Here's your chance stand up for this courageous leader who has been standing up for the sanctity of marriage and traditional family values.

Leaders as good as Sen. Santorum are worthy of support for daring to state the truth. Fearless on matters of morality, Sen. Santorum said what he believes and what his faith teaches is correct to believe, and he did so in the context of discussing the implications of a Supreme Court case. He has done nothing wrong. In fact, he has done something right by inadvertently bringing a crucial issue to light.

Back this courageous leader who is standing up for the vast majority of Americans by saying what needs to be said. Tell him the time has come to stop bowing down to politically correct groups, and that you are glad a man with his integrity and faith is willing to lead the way.

The truth has been silenced too long. Support Sen. Santorum! Sign this petition and then do everything you can to bring it to the attention of others!

PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION!

Then email everyone you know!

Dear Sen. Rick Santorum:

You are making a fearless stand, and I want to thank you personally for so clearly stating the facts that loom crucial to the essence of life in America. I agree that upholding an absolute right to privacy for consenting adults within the home to do whatever they want would have far reaching ramifications, including a very serious impact on the American family.

I appreciate your efforts to defend the sanctity of marriage and family values as defined by the Bible. You have shown great courage in speaking the truth, and I praise your effort. I encourage you to keep it up, while holding firm to your reins of leadership.

I know a concerted campaign seeks to smear your name and question your leadership. I want to encourage you not to yield to this unnatural pressure. Don't let the well-organized and well-funded homosexual movement silence the truth. Don't listen to soul-less Democrats or the God-less media. Stand firm in your beliefs, with the reality that a vast majority of Americans support what you courageously have stated.

The time has come to stop bowing down to politically correct groups, and I am glad a man with your integrity and faith is willing to lead the way.

Know that I stand up in support your comments and urge President George W. Bush and other leaders not only to back you but to help champion the truth.

SODOMY : Why a 'Gay' Activist Columnist at The Washington Times?

I think it might be a little naive to assume that "gay Republicans" ever actually vote for Republican candidates or ever have.

I see the Log Cabin group as much more of propaganda device than any legitimate conservative group. They are not organized to nor do they work to move fellow-sodomites to the Republican position. Their entire concern is about their sexuality and their special rights.

If someone is trying to use a "Republican" group as a propaganda ploy and all they ever talk about is sodomy rights, then I suspect they vote Democrat in a ballot box.

I think the case should be compared to black Republicans. Among black Republicans, they actually work hard to swap people toward conservativism. And they have made some real inroads. So, even if 91% of the black vote went to Gore, it would have been more without black Republicans and their efforts. And I think they will continue to make more inroads. But it's still a tough fight ahead for years to come.

So black Republicans are definitely serious conservatives. I don't think you can say the same for homosexual advocacy groups who label themselves as Republicans so they can play Trojan Horse.

Or is Trojan Horse perhaps offensive to the anti-condom crowd like Sullivan?

For those who are interested, Sullivan's web sites were cached and placed on display before he could get them shut down. This a link to the front page of those cached copies of his sites at AOL and BarebackCity:

Andrew Sullivan's barebacking sites Warning: very explicit photos of Sullivan on subsequent pages (not on first page). But this should tell you more about what gay rights mean to Andrew Sullivan and what he does with his freedom.

Sullivan is HIV-positive and advertises for sex without condoms with others. There's nothing remotely conservative about him.

Gay Money Comes Out of the Closet : Salt Lake Tribune , August 19, 2000 Author: Ruth Marcus

In all, gays have contributed about $5 million this election to the Democratic National Committee alone -- a total that puts them among the top tier of Democratic givers

For the 2000 race, the DNC set up a new Gay and Lesbian Victory Council for those who gave $10,000 and more. It now has almost 100 donors, and about 13 members of the party's "Jefferson Trust," for $100,000 givers, are openly gay.

Gay And Lesbian Leaders Launch National Grassroots Effort To Help Elect Al Gore President

Nashville - February 29, 2000 - Praising Al Gore's commitment to fighting discrimination and promoting equality for all Americans, lesbian and gay leaders across the country today announced the launch of Gay and Lesbian Americans for Gore. The group will work over the Internet and in local communities to mobilize volunteers and organize support for Gore. Today's announcement came on the heels of an important national endorsement yesterday by the National Stonewall Democratic Federation, which has 47 affiliated clubs and 10,000 members nationwide.

Gay Nazis: the Role of Homosexuality in Nazism & Hitler's Rise to ... Thus butch hypermasculinity, visibility for homosexuals, and organization were the three necessary ingredients in the mix which allowed the SA leaders to make their unique and essential contribution to the rise of Nazism. Another important consideration is that visibility is enabled when homosexuality assumes a political voice. In this way, the politicization of homosexuality, which supported gays in the process of socially identifying themselves as such, was a necessary condition for Hitler's success.

Homosexual Manifestos Finally, we will in all likelihood want to expunge a number of passages from your Scriptures and rewrite others, eliminating preferential treatment of marriage and using words that will allow for homosexual interpretations of passages describing biblical lovers such as Ruth and Boaz or Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. Warning: If all these things do not come to pass quickly, we will subject Orthodox Jews and Christians to the most sustained hatred and vilification in recent memory. We have captured the liberal establishment and the press. We have already beaten you on a number of battlefields. ... You have neither the faith nor the strength to fight us, so you might as well surrender now."

Homosexuality and the Nazi Party These men were viciously anti-Jew and anti-Christian because of the injunctions against homosexuality inherent in the Judeo-Christian sexual ethic.

It won't help you win the American center. If the CENTER is this far gone, then the election dosen't matter. Total loss of common sense.
