I applaud the effort, unfortunately I don't see the Academy revoking his Oscar or even putting an asterix next to his award.

I don't see the Academy revoking his OscarI agree. The fact is that The Academy knew EXACTLY what it was doing. The Academy was making a political statement with it's award as much as Moore was making a personal attack.
