I was asking the same questions, how could the US let journalists walk away with potentially "smoking gun" documents? What if some journalists who found it would destroy it ( I bet if a CNN journalist found it, it would never see the light of day).

Then another possibility occurred to me, what if these were documents that were deliberately left for journalists, or a particular journalist to find, and someone gave a tip to the UK Telegraph journalist, killing two birds with one stone, doing someone a favor and getting the documents out into the light of day? Just a little help for Tony Blair... (Galloway revelations)

I do not imply that the documents are not genuine, I am sure they are genuine all right, but perhaps there was a little more to their discovery by the UK journalist.

I see were wearing our tinfoil hat today. The British press is even more vile than the US press, Helping Blair is not their goal, however sorting out the truth is and should be.
