I love Hannity too. But, I have to agree with you, that at times he relies more on emotions than presenting a good argument. And he never, never, concedes that he may be wrong!
I have seen Alan admitt that the conservatives have a good point, but, I have never heard Hannity admitt that the liberals have a good point. And the fact is, that at times they do!

Some arguments are best presented from an emotional perspective, rather than be purely logical. It makes sense from a rhetorical perspective, and there are some values-driven arguments that are intrinsically emotional.
