So, the tale is not cast in iron yet.

Lantos may just be spouting this story to make our own intelligence look bad in comparison with Israel's. We'll see.

And if you want to talk about costly allies what about Poland? So far Poland sent a handful of troops to Iraq and signed a letter. That cost the United States over $6 billion in military aircraft for Poland. Not only are many billions of investment dollars being spent in Poland as part of the deal, absolutely no principal will be repaid until 2010 ie in other words, forget it. And before you start in, Israel has always repaid her loans on time, and no, they have never been forgiven. Given the loans are not American but just American guaranteed in the first place it would in any event be kind of difficult.

For those that don't recall the name Craig Livingstone, he was one of the two White House personnel members sent to ID Vince Foster's body.

According to the Starr Report, one of the two, either Livingstone or Kennedy, solved the biggest puzzle concerning the Foster suicide during the ID process. The Park Police could not explain the inability to locate Foster's car keys anywhere at the scene or on Foster's person.

Luckily, Livingstone or Kennedy, the Starr Report does not identify which one, reached into the pants pocket of dead the Vince Foster and produced a key ring with Foster's car key on it. Case solved. Obvious suicide.
