To: Remedy
Besides the fact that I think they are wrong with regard to personal autonomy, to enforce this law would require each person's household to be monitored in a way that would violate the rights with regard to legal searches.

To quote from Kipling's "The Portent"

Cease, then, to fashion State-made sin,
  Nor give thy children cause to doubt
That Virtue springs from Iron within--
  Not lead without.

Keep and enforce laws with regard to what consenting adults do in private and you will make a society that has no respect for the law as a whole.

They are bringing this backlash on themselves with their in-your-face tactics and with their incessant attempts to force their lifestyle on the rest of us.
