"They have the most wrong-headed economic policies that we've seen since Herbert Hoover." In an attempt to explain why the country wasn't saddled with the bread lines and street-corner apple salesman of the Hoover-era, Clinton said, "People know better than what they hear and what they see." FDR took office in 1933. Did not bad economic times continue through the mid-1930s and even into the late-'30s? Perhaps economic ups-and-downs are in large part cyclical, irrespective of who's in office. And maybe there's a carry-over lag-time from the previous administration. And perhaps Sen. Clinton should say, "They have the most wrong-headed economic policies that we've seen since Franklin Roosevelt." And maybe the FDR/LBJ Social Security/Medicare taxes are an oppressive burden on the American taxpayer. Ya think?

I believe you are correct. FDR is the biggest disaster this country has ever seen, but the lefties have been showering him with kisses since forever.
