Good morning (-:

I waited for the rain last night, (like to listen to it as I drift off)
but except for a brief shower very early...nothing.
I think it did much later on, but I've been sleeping soundly the last couple of nights, and might have missed it.
We have bright sunshine now, and the day is shaping up to be beautiful.

A good and welcome rain always reminds me of when I was nine and went for eight weeks to a summer camp in the mountains of South Carolina - Camp Jocassee.

I was blessed to have an upper bunk with screening under the eaves for ventilation that afforded a view of the rapids in the small river that ran alongside.

There was nothing lovelier than listening to the drum of rain on that tin roof; or on serene moonlit nights, watching the silvery flow of water and light!
