How much is it going to cost the taxpayers to replace that useless piece of monstrosity?

I suppose Mt. Rushmore is a monstrosity to you, and Niagara Falls, and the Grand Canyon also. Who peed in the Corn Flakes this morning?

This was no Niagara. The darn thing was so high up the mountain, and you were so far below, that it was far from impressive. Good for photos? Yep, with a first rate telephoto lens.

There is a natural process of decay in those cliffs such that if you just wait a few centuries, another profile may open up all by itself. If they really feel that have to bring it back, they should find some other spot that almost looks like a profile, and chisel it a bit with dynomite.
