When does Maine stop accepting federal money through Medicaid and Medicare and replace it with Maine money?

I don't think Maine HAS any money! We are supposed to be the poorest state in the Union............what money??? We just lost 3,000 more workers!

That's going to make funding a real issue. Well, I'm sure the new governor will find a revenue source. Maybe he can put toll booths on the throughways, along with donation boxes for people who want to "add a little extra"...

Cool stuff!
Let Maine become a national parasite magnet.
Better for the rest of us in the civilized states.

Funny how the states that are bankrup, then some, keep coming up with costly, HUGE, new, govt. programs. The elected officials are simply looking for the next vote to buy, not caring about the future of the state.

Hopefully when Maine has to increase taxes to 80% for everyone the country will wake up and stop heading in that direction.

We just dumped our liberal democRAT govornor in Maryland. He spent about $2 billion more than the state had. With a balanced budget law the new republican is having to make a lot of cuts (good thing) but that won't cover the deficit so taxes are heading up...
