What this story has lacked since it first slithered out of Carvile's sleazy pile of dog crap he calls a mind is one important point.

If W wanted to avoid any military service that would be potentially dangerous, why the HELL would he sign up to fly one of the most dangerous jets? I don't have the numbers handy, but the F102 was a dicey jet to fly, and it killed many men in training alone. In reality, if he had the connections they suggest, he could have easily swung a job as a REMF, say, a journalist.
