It is not part of the left's frame of mind to offer smart domestic security programs to counter Attorney General John Ashcroft's heavy hand. And perhaps most damaging, the left is not in the habit of proposing a constructive foreign policy.
Domestic Policy. Foreign Policy. Baseball analogy would be: Liberals suck at home, they suck on road trips. That spells losing season in any league (even in the sandlots where the dems play).
In politics what it works out to is they are not fit to lead. That anyone even seriously considers them for office is a miracle.
The dems don't belong on the hallowed playing field- not even as umpires. Their rightful place is in the cheap seats, the sparsely populated outfield bleachers- shagging foul balls for souvenirs, scrapping over the occasional home run, spitting at and taunting the outfielders for being rich and able, getting ejected...
