"No matter what. Even if US federal agents spirit me away and try to torture a retraction out of me - which, with this administration, is a distinct possibility."
Totally wrong, fella. No one gives a rats a... about you. Trust me on this.

Just to make sure I understand this ...
5.6 Trillion Projected Surplus minus 1.3 Trillion Tax Cut for the Wealthy = Projected Deficit
5.6
- 1.3
4.3 ? No?
Oh, I see. When it's a republican there are different rules? Oh, OK.
Maybe if we emphasised the word "projected" we would have a better understanding?

This is one Texan that is proud that GWB is a TEXAN. I think He knows so much more than the smartellic Leo who is just an inturn. Look how far he had to go before anyone would except him in the work place.

From the ultra liberal
Newark Star Ledger. The cartoon may change over time due to an inconsistent URL:

This fellow has a rather grandiose notion of his own self-importance. "Even if US federal agents spirit me away and try to torture a retraction out of me" - a rather bizarre straw man argument. Paranoid feelings of persecution? The "I'm ashamed he's from Texas" thing had a certain shock value when the fat chick used it, but now it is old and stale. Who cares what this fellow is ashamed of anyway?
How people like this manage to get published is beyond me.

Who cares what this POS says.
That the communists, socialists, perverets, child molestors, main stream media, rapists, liars, murderers, abortionists, n.o.w.,environmentalists, college professors, traitors hate him is not surprising but it is good.
I intentionaly omitted the word democrat in the above list because that would be reduntant.
They subjects mentioned in paragraph two love bill and hillary clinton because the clintons are one of them.
The reason that they hate president Bush is because evil always hates good.

Bush inherited the largest federal budget surplus in history (estimated at $US5.6 trillion over ten years) and a healthy economy
6.5 trillion of money that was never in the government's pocket.
But a $US1.3 trillion tax cut aimed almost entirely at the very wealthy, a cut so ill-advised it was questioned even by many supply-side economists, certainly did not help...
Money that has never been paid from the government's pocket.
I am from Texas. I was born there. I was raised there. I lived there for the first 23 and a half of my 24 years, leaving only to pursue a Master's degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois
Leo McKinney is an American journalist on an internship at The Sydney Morning Herald. What is he? An intern or someone persuing their master's degree? He has been out of Texas for 6 months but is in Australia? Huh? What about Chicago and school?

"...one of my direct ancestors, Collin McKinney, signed the (Texas) Declaration of Independence."
This doesn't justify your views or bona fides. This only displays how far you have deviated from somebody in your family that actually had sense at one time.
Unfortunately, Mr. McKinney is dead. If he were alive, I'm pretty certain he'd give your sorry hide a Texas tanning you'd never forget.

leaving only to pursue a Master's degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. I suspect that he "pursued" a Master's degree but didn't get it. If he had, wouldn't he have phrased the statement a bit differently?

"When he assumed my country's highest executive office - a post to which he was not actually elected - in January of 2001, Bush inherited the largest federal budget surplus in history (estimated at $US5.6 trillion over ten years) and a healthy economy." I see he has been appropriately brainwashed well.... at least he got SOMETHING from all that money he or his parents poured into his "education." And at 24 his "self esteem" training seems to be serving him well...arrogant, ungrateful, little POS. Maybe he'll never return to Texas....sounds like a good NewYork Democrat to me.
