Leno:
He was on the carrier to give a speech to announce the end of combat in Iraq. Not the end of the war, the end of combat. He warned there are still "pockets of resistance. The Dixie Chicks, Susan Sarandon, France, Howard Dean
.
I was reading in "Varity today about the Dixie Chicks, music industry insiders say the Dixie Chicks might have to change format to sell records. Theyre thinking about switching from "country and western to "country and middle-eastern.
You know who had a birthday yesterday? Saddam Husseins 66th birthday. I heard at his party three naked women jumped out of the cake - the Dixie Chicks!
I guess you heard that two Southwest pilots were fired after being caught in the cockpit naked. They were naked in the cockpit. Now, their lawyer said they were just showing their support for the Dixie Chicks.
Well, the Dixie Chicks are in the news again, they were on Diane Sawyer. I dont know if you saw they posed naked on the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. To give you an idea how naked they are, you can actually see their Dixie cups.
The Dixie Chicks are fighting back against President Bush and their critics. They have posed naked on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Thats not going to get President Bush to pay attention. Thats going to get Bill Clintons attention. Right idea, wrong president.
Letterman:
Saddam Hussein may still be alive. Hes reported to be sending faxes to a London newspaper. In the latest fax he said hed like to thank the Dixie Chicks for their support.

KEYWORDS:
Another one that's not included here is a Leno joke I think from last Friday. He reported that someone paid thousands of dollars for a Saddam Hussein-signed banjo. Then he asked, "Who would need a banjo like that?" Something like that. And then they showed the Blixie Pricks on stage holding instruments.Despite the efforts by their publicist to lie and claim the Blix-ie Chiques have not lost any suport, no one belives him.
There's no way that country singers, especially ones with the word "Dixie" in their name, could ever get away with this. What was Porky thinking? After being around rich, famous people, they all got mentally screwed and thought they were more elite and better than everyone else.

IMO you will see the Ditzy Twit crash and burn unless the two sisters decide that the little fat one is just not worth it.

You must have missed the Diane Sawyer interview. The sisters are totally in sync with Natalie. Or so they said.

BTW, how retouched was Natalie's pot belly on the EW cover. Or maybe she's hiding a pillow under her stage costumes?

The sisters are totally in sync with Natalie. Or so they saidI thought In-Sync was a male group that actually had some talent..

Those photos, especially on the fron cover, are heavily doctored with a photo program. I'm sure all kinds of things were smoothed over.
To: trebb
Talent? I haven't heard any anti-war crap from N-sync, but they're not worth listening to, either.
To: GulliverSwift
As you can see - i couldn't even spell n-sync right - just taking a cheap shot at the "Chicks"...

My wife and I purchased tickets for their upcoming Cincinnati concert long before their stupid Bush remark.
We were tormented as to whether or not we should go and came up with the decision that we would only be hurting ourselves by not going since they already have our money.
However
We are buying Bush / Cheney shirts and hats from the President's online store and are going to wear them proudly to the concert.
We'll get their early and walk around so everyone can see who we support...

I heard/read that there were people in attendance at the Blixie Chix concert last week who were wearing Bush/Cheney shirts.
When Maines offered 15 seconds for non-supporters in attendance to boo her/them, the Bush/Cheneys had the graciousness to politely remain silent.
Now that's class!

Good idea!! Throwing away prevously-purchased tickets won't help get across the point that their action in spewing anti-Bush speech in a foreign country was wrong. I think this "silent" protest is a much better tactic. Let us know what the reaction to the Chicks and your t-shirts is after the concert.

The Chicks have always been liberals. They were during World Wildlife Fund Ads a few yrs ago. They live in the Peoples Republic of Austin, now.
I think the liberal media is trying to downplay the reaction to them. Remember they are now darlings of the liberal media for bashing Bush

Whichever one is supposed to be "the brains" of the group, the other two ought to take a time out to figure it out.

The Chicks have always been liberals. They were during World Wildlife Fund Ads a few yrs ago. They live in the Peoples Republic of Austin, now. One of the sisters made an interesting comment on the Sawyer interview. Something about how she loves country music so much, that she tries to get her friends to listen to it.
In effect saying that her friends don't like country music.
Hmmmmmm. Sounds to me like they have always been just cashing in.
